For the past year, we have been experimenting with different types of rooms and avatars since our last major iteration. Over time, having discussed with many companies who tried MeetinVR, we’ve redesigned our avatars, created some awesome new spaces and came up with lots of new activities to do. Take a look at our new work and tell us what you think.  If you want to be one of the first to try our product, sign up for early access.

New avatars

Virtual reality is a completely immersive medium, so it’s only natural that people want to have “the full experience” for interpersonal communication. In this sense, eye contact, lip movement and hand gestures should complement auditory cues such as tone and intonation.

What people expect from enterprise VR is expressive communication and representation that helps others get a clue of who they are talking to.  Life-like virtual representation is just as important to them as the activities they are engaged in.

We tried to achieve a balance between a realistic and a stylised design in order to align with the types of meetings we have in VR.  For that, customisable look-alike avatars seemed like the natural choice.

New meeting rooms

Our range of rooms has expanded from one to eight. Initially, we had one single workspace with different work areas inside it. A year later, we have designed a variety of meeting rooms, each one tailored for specific purposes.
